All About Zucchini

Zucchini is a vegetable plant that has a mild flavor.  It can be slightly bitter and slightly sweet. When cooked, the zucchini’s sweet flavors become more evident. It is often cooked instead of eaten raw by roasting or baking.  They can be used in recipes such as ratatouille, fritters, and stuffed baked zucchini or simply served with other vegetables. 

When to Transplant

Transplant Zucchini seedlings to a larger pot or into the ground within about 18 days or three weeks.
